year old French oak from Tronçais forest.
The vineyard is located in the southern end of Gevrey Chambertin's grand Crus, near Morey-Saint-Denis, on the lower part of the hillside, a continuation of the Chambertin.
Quite a full Grand Cru for a Charmes. Blackcurrant, cherry, raspberries, spices and earthy notes. Impressive.
