Rosso di Montalcino
100% Sangiovese. 2 years of oak.
It's basically a Brunello di Montalcino with shorter ageing but as noble.
Characteristics of rustic youth, fruity (especially red fruits and plum), exuberance and a distinctive saline and earthy (balsamic and toasted feelings) profile in the end.
It's a killer red. Natural wine fanatics (and not), think this is one of Tuscany's best value for money.
Great with good food. Earthy, rich food.
