Tanca Nica Single Parcel Set
3 very different interpretation of Zibibbo. Alberello Pantesco.
This set is probably Pantelleria's best example of what the tiny island is all about. Very rare. Just 200 bottles of each are produced.
Yellow label: vineyard from 1934, north exposure, at 300 meters above sea level. Yellow pumice soil. Very exotic, notes of pineapple and mature yellow fruits.
Grey label: vineyard from 1970, west exposure, at 150 meters above sea level.
Volcanic, loose and shallow soil. Formed by gray pumice of small granulometry, a substrate of ignimbrite lava mother rock. Strong mineral and ferrous notes. 12%, 2020.
Red label: vineyard from 2014, north-east exposure at 50 meters above sea level.
Volcanic soil, formed by basalts with a high presence of iron starch, aluminum and calcium. The warmest, most mature Zibibbo on the island. 14.5%, 2020.
