Refined, complex, and quietly powerful, Drappier Grande Sendrée is the house’s flagship cuvée — an elegant, age-worthy Champagne named after a parcel replanted following the great fire of 1836. The name derives from “cendrée,” referring to the ashen soils where the grapes thrive, bringing depth and structure to this remarkable wine.
The Terroir, The Millésime, a rare Champagne in its loveliest manifestation. Golden in colour with amber nuances.
The palate accentuates the vinosity, the depth and the structure. Chardonnay (45%) displays elegance while the Pinot Noir (55%), with its slight predominance, brings power and great vinosity.
The result is a Champagne of striking aromatic richness: white flowers, dried apricot, honey, toast, and delicate spice unfold with each swirl. On the palate, it’s broad and structured yet harmonious, with fine bubbles and a long, mineral-driven finish. This is a gastronomic Champagne, capable of evolving beautifully over time.
Great with lobster, white truffle risotto, roasted poultry, aged cheeses.
