Les Suchots is one of the most celebrated premier cru vineyards in Vosne Romanée, sitting on the northern edge of the village between the grands crus of Vosne Romanée and Flagey Echezeaux. It is widely considered to be of near-grand cru quality and produces wines of exceptional floral intensity, precision and depth. 2018 was a generous and perfectly ripe vintage across the Côte de Nuits, producing wines of remarkable concentration, velvety texture and immediate charm while retaining the structure to age beautifully.

Deep ruby with an intense and captivating nose of dark cherry, wild berry, violet and a delicate earthy complexity. On the palate the wine is elegant, fine and very long, with silky tannins, a refined mineral backbone and a finish of extreme precision. In youth, the new oak integrates beautifully with the fruit; with time, expect layers of truffle, forest floor and spice to emerge. Drink from 2024 through 2035 and beyond.

Outstanding with coq au vin, roast chicken with truffle, duck confit or Époisses cheese.
