100% Merlot Rosé. Clairet as my buds in London call it. Vinified and matured in traditional oak barrel for 8 months. No added sulphites. Extremely rare, only 2'400 bottles made.
The robe is sparkling ruby. The nose is fresh and floral, with red fruit aromas alongside notes of peonies and white flowers. We particularly like the strawberry and rhubarb notes. On the palate this Saignée is light and playful, with tannins so light you practically need no water while dining.
Probably the top end of natural rosé.
Best with Asian food or BBQ, for real.
