Il Paradiso di Manfredi

Less than 10’000 bottles produced per year, the tenuta is located in "Strada del Canalicchio”, which – for the old folks in Montalcino – has always been considered as the best land.

The estate is named after Manfredi Martini (expert in agriculture and viticulture, born in Montalcino in 1914) and the estate "Il Paradiso", a typical country manor built at the end of the 1800s.

Manfredi and his wife Fortunata purchased the estate "Il Paradiso” around 1950. In 1967, Manfredi and some farmers founded the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino.

After Manfredi's passing in 1982, his son-in-law Florio Guerrini, previously a maths teacher, took over the estate (Florio’s first vintage was actually in 1981).
