100% Pinot Noir. 18 months in French oak, 30% new, lightly toasted from Allier, Jupilles and Nevers forests. Blend of three parcels: Les Allots and Les Lavières north of Nuits Saint Georges towards Vosne Romanée, and Les Maladières to the south.

Nuits Saint Georges is a signature wine of Maison Marchand Tawse, assembling three carefully selected parcels that together capture the full character of the appellation. 2022 was a warm, generous vintage in Burgundy, producing wines of remarkable ripeness, open-knit charm and immediate appeal, while retaining the mineral precision that defines the Côte de Nuits.

Deep, vibrant ruby with an inviting nose of sweet raspberry, wild strawberry and a touch of dark spice. On the palate the wine is racy and bright, with a firm yet supple tannic structure, earthy complexity and a crisp, focused finish. More approachable than the 2021 in its youth, with the depth to reward a few years of patience.

Perfect with veal saltimbocca, lamb chops, mushroom risotto or a porcini quiche.
