The wine reveals an intense and refined nose of dark cherry, wild berry and mulberry, with rose petal and floral hints woven through a beautifully perfumed and precise character. The 2022 vintage brings a delightful ripeness that is vivid and hedonistic, yet never loses its sense of place.
On the palate, it is fine, long and extraordinarily precise, with supple tannins and a finish that lingers and evolves. A wine of real grandeur that justifies every penny of its price.
Ideally with coq au vin, roast chicken, roast duck, truffles or Epoisses.
