One of the most expressive white wines of the southern of France.
On the nose, fennel, thyme, candied lemon, and garrigue from the Alpilles lead the way. The palate shows magnificent vitality for a southern wine, with a firmness and refinement that evokes the greatest whites of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A complex, rich, and expressive palate retains a fresh, nervy character that underlines a lovely creaminess, with a very long finish.
A favourite of Jancis Robinson "it outclasses many Hermitage blanc".
A rare bottle. Serve at 12°C and pair with rich fish dishes, white meat, or aged goat’s cheese.
