100% Pinot Noir. The wine is aged for 10 to 12 months in a combination of French oak barrels and vats.
The wine pours a lively ruby red with violet highlights. The nose opens with inviting aromas of fresh cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry, layered over subtle notes of violet and a light touch of spice.
On the palate, the attack is supple and elegant, with silky tannins and a fine acidity that frames the red fruit beautifully. The finish is clean, medium in length, and lifted by a delicate mineral quality that speaks to the Burgundian terroir.
This Bourgogne Rouge is a versatile companion at the table. It pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, duck breast with cherry sauce, or a classic boeuf bourguignon. It is equally at home alongside a selection of Burgundian cheeses such as Époisses or Comté, and holds its own with mushroom-based dishes or charcuterie.
