Chardonnay, Viognier & Sauvignon. Grown at 600 metres above sea level, a few kilometres from Teramo, on sandy soil mixed with small pebbles.
The grapes are hand-harvested and macerated together in small vats until the end of alcoholic fermentation, about 10 days, with no temperature control. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel and 6 months in bottle.
Light and racy, with bright citrus and tropical fruit. Grapefruit and white peach lead, lifted by honeysuckle and a touch of ginger. Fresh acidity, gentle tannins and a crisp, mineral finish complete the wine.
Its acidity and light tannins suit spicy and fermented dishes such as kimchi, Thai salads and Indian curries, as well as aged hard cheeses. It also works with roast chicken.
