80% Trebbiano, 20% Moscato. Hand-destemmed. Half carbonic maceration, with daily fulling. 2 weeks of skin contact. Aged in fiberglass.
The Clay and Limestone soil give it the right freshness and minerality and the addition of Moscato brings to the wine the aromatic side that makes it more winking.
The blend brings together a delicious orange wine coming in at a light 11% alcohol. The result is one of the most immediately charming and easy-drinking wines in the Lammidia range.
Pale straw colour, almost luminous. The nose opens with the Moscato’s perfume front and center: orange blossom, white peach, apricot, and a whisper of sage, softened by the more grounded, slightly herbal character of the Trebbiano beneath.
Light, lively, and refreshing, with bright citrus acidity keeping the aromatic richness in check. There is nothing heavy or cloying here. At 11%, it drinks effortlessly, with a clean, slightly saline finish that pulls you back for another sip. Less tannic that the orange wine you are used to drink.
True to Lammidia’s philosophy, it is bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulphites , so expect a gentle liveliness in the bottle.
Bianco Aromatico is made for grazing and sharing. It is a natural aperitivo wine, wonderful alongside olives, marinated vegetables, or a soft fresh cheese.
Its floral lift and light body make it a lovely match for delicate dishes: steamed mussels, lemon-dressed seafood salads, or a simple plate of prosciutto and melon. It also works surprisingly well with mildly spiced food, where its aromatic quality echoes floral or citrus notes in the dish. A bottle to open early and finish without effort.
