100% Pecorino. Direct press. Aged in fiberglass. Wines from 1995 on limestone and clay soil
PEC 300 is from a Pecorino grown in Pianella, at 300 m asl; it is an old clone that is more aromatic, keeping, at the same time, a good structure and acidity.
One of the most approachable and joyful expressions from Lammidia.
Pale gold with a lively haze. It is a fresh and very drinkable white wine , with aromas of green apple, ripe pear, white peach, and a whisper of citrus blossom.
Savory with saline quality on the finish. True to Lammidia’s ethos, it is bottled unfiltered, unfined, and without added sulphites, bursting with the vitality of spontaneous fermentation.
This is a wine built for the table and for easy pleasure, with just enough structure to keep things interesting glass after glass.
PEC 300 is a versatile companion at the table. Its bright acidity and subtle texture make it excellent with seafood, particularly grilled fish, clams, or lightly dressed crudo. It holds its own alongside pasta with clam sauce or a simple aglio e olio.
On land, think fried zucchini blossoms, fresh chèvre, or a board of young sheep’s milk cheeses, a fitting nod to the grape’s pastoral origins. It also works beautifully as an aperitivo wine, especially alongside cured meats or bruschetta.
