100% Carignan planted in 1919.
Soil: Quartz and granite over clay, with a high magnesium content.
Vinification: 9 months of whole-cluster maceration. Aging: 12 to 16 months in barrel.
Dark cherry, wild herbs, cracked pepper, and a whisper of earth. The texture is supple but structured, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, mineral finish. It’s a red that speaks quietly but leaves a lasting impression — full of energy, without excess.
Decant if possible, or give it a few swirls in the glass. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty vegetables, or anything shared slowly at a table with friends.
Without added sulphites, no fining, no filtration. Purists.
